What’s been happening:

I am a 20-year member of the Wabash Friends Church. I am married to a most charming elementary teacher, Gevie. My home is situated near the center of a sixty acre field just east of Urbana, Indiana. I have two grown children; Anthony, a GMI graduate, is a Quality Assurance Engineer with Borg Warner; and Rebekah, MS Music, Ball State University, is a 6 through 12 band, vocal, and choir instructor at Delta School System. For almost 23 years I have been in my current position of Project Engineer at The Ford Meter Box Company, Inc. in Wabash, Indiana. The 110 year old Ford Meter Box Company is privately held and ISO Certified We operate a large state of the art foundry, and manufacture various brass valves and related items for worldwide sale to the potable water industry. We catalogue over 200,000 standard items in 5/8" through 2" nominal sizes and also do custom work. At Ford Meter Box my primary responsibility over the years has been the design and building of automatic machining and assembly equipment. I have traditionally executed all aspects of a project from generating the functional concept through installation on the factory floor. More recently Ford Meter Box has advanced into the arena of robot tended assembly and machining cells. I am currently installing our second cell which consists of three robots, a dual spindle CNC lathe, a CNC Mill and two inspection stations involving five vision cameras. In 1976 I bought from my father his 1969 GTO that he bought new. I have restored it since moving to Indiana. I also cruise in a 1983 Olds 98 Regency.
